About The Position

The Resort Worker supports most aspects of the Lodge’s day-to-day operations while maintaining a high level of customer service. The role is cross-trained across front desk, retail, housekeeping, groundskeeping, and food service, and may perform other duties as assigned by the Shift Supervisor or Manager(s). Compensation is $17.73 per hour.

Requirements

• Partial high school education; a high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• One year of work experience and a desire to learn and work hard.
• Ability to interpret menus and recipes and follow oral and written directions.
• Good visual and communication skills.
• Ability to work with a variety of people.
• Willingness to be cross-trained in all areas of the workplace.
• Ability to read and write work-related documents in English and communicate clearly in English with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to perform the stated physical demands, including standing throughout the workday, climbing steps, and lifting, carrying, and pushing items weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service, food service, housekeeping, and other support as needed.
• Restock supplies and maintain a clean, orderly, and stocked work station.
• Accurately accept payments and issue receipts, refunds, credit, or change as necessary.
• Assess current practices and adapt to perform tasks better, faster, or more efficiently.
• Work across assigned Lodge areas, including front desk, retail, housekeeping, groundskeeping, and food service.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Shift Supervisor or Manager(s).
