About The Position
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Resort Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness and proper storage of dishware, glassware, and silverware while meeting sanitation standards. The role also assists kitchen staff with cleaning the kitchen and storage areas in both Restaurant and Banquet Kitchens. Associates are expected to support the company’s “Lead with Love” promise and contribute to positive guest experiences through professionalism and a helpful attitude. The starting rate is $15.00 an hour.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in stewarding and/or dishwashing in a high-volume, fine dining, restaurant, or food and beverage outlet.
- Ability to get along well with others, demonstrate flexibility and patience, and work as a team member.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Load, run, and unload the dish machine according to sanitation specifications to ensure china, glassware, and silverware are thoroughly cleaned.
- Forecast dish and equipment requirements for each shift based on business needs.
- Assist with maintaining kitchen cleanliness.
- Keep equipment clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following culinary and sanitation preventative maintenance programs.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of dishware, glassware, and silverware.
