About The Position

The Dishwasher is primarily responsible for ensuring dishes, tableware, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils are clean and sanitized using manual and machine-cleaning methods. The role includes keeping the dish area clean and organized, returning items to their proper locations, maintaining adequate supplies of clean items during busy periods, and assisting employees with proper sanitation.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Required Clark County Health Card.
• Gracious, friendly, patient, and helpful attitude toward guests.
• Flexible schedule with full availability on nights and weekends.
• Working knowledge of food and beverage laws and regulations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively with employees, guests, and owners.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize smallwares used in dining and kitchen areas.
• Load and unload dishwashing machines.
• Wash designated items by hand, including wooden cutting boards, large pots, and delicate china.
• Store clean dishes, glasses, and equipment appropriately.
• Ensure enough clean dishes, glasses, and utensils are available, especially during peak hours.
• Maintain stock of cleaning supplies such as detergents and notify the appropriate person when supplies need to be ordered.
• Check washing machine operation and promptly report technical or performance issues.
• Remove garbage regularly.
• Keep the dish area clean and organized and assist employees with proper sanitation.
