About The Position
Lake Austin Spa Resort is hiring a Steward to handle dishwashing and cleaning duties at its all-inclusive luxury spa resort in the Texas Hill Country. The ideal candidate is friendly, courteous, helpful, timely, and professional, and contributes to high guest satisfaction. Candidates who speak Spanish are welcomed. The role requires working weekends and holidays if needed and involves working in a fast-paced, loud environment.
Requirements
- Food handler certificate.
- Friendly and courteous.
- Dependable.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and loud environment.
- Able to stand for periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Attentive to workplace safety.
- Willing to work as part of a team, including some weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Load, operate, and unload the dish machine to keep the restaurant running smoothly and tableware clean.
- Monitor the dish machine, keep it clean, and check that wash cycles are sanitary and effective.
- Report dish-machine problems immediately.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
- Follow hygiene rules and food-safety measures.
- Work as part of a team, including some weekends and holidays.
