About The Position

The Resort Concierge delivers professional, friendly, and engaging service at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess. The role anticipates guest needs, shares local expertise, and creates personalized recommendations to help guests enjoy an exceptional stay. The concierge assists with golf arrangements, dining reservations, and other activities before or during guests’ visits; provides helpful information about hotel facilities; and supports administrative duties. The position requires strong knowledge of the Greater Phoenix and Scottsdale area, the ability to multitask in a high-traffic, fast-paced environment, and a consistent focus on guest needs, teamwork, and service standards.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of the Greater Phoenix and Scottsdale area.
• Previous customer-related experience.
• Outstanding guest service skills and exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Windows applications.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
• High level of responsibility and reliability.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work cohesively with colleagues as part of a team.
• Ability to focus on guest needs while remaining calm and courteous.
• Ability to multitask and work in a high-traffic area.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of POS systems and hotel software such as Opera Cloud.
• Microsoft Office program skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, friendly, and engaging service.
• Assist with golf arrangements, dining reservations, and other activities before or during guests’ stays.
• Use local knowledge to offer recommendations and assist guests with activities and attractions.
• Provide guests with informative and helpful guidance regarding hotel facilities.
• Perform administrative duties.
• Follow department policies, procedures, service standards, and safety policies.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
• Maintain a professional presence and appearance in guest interactions and adhere to Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Grooming Guidelines.
