About The Position

Resort Housekeepers regularly clean resort facilities, buildings, and rental properties to keep the resort presentable and sanitary. They clean and sanitize areas, appliances, bathrooms, floors, windows, offices, and laundry equipment; stock products as needed; and help maintain the overall appearance and orderliness of resort facilities. They follow safety procedures and report unsafe or hazardous conditions, incidents, accidents, and defective equipment to their manager. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Demonstrated knowledge of general janitorial work.
Knowledge of safety measures when using various cleaning chemicals.
Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and the internet.
Valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

Six months of previous experience cleaning homes or other large facilities.

Responsibilities

Clean, sanitize, and stock areas with products as needed.
Ensure tables and chairs are clean and functioning properly.
Clean and sanitize appliances, removing food particles, mold, and mildew; defrost freezers as needed.
Clean and sanitize bathrooms, ensure they are well lit, and place rubber mats for safety.
Follow established safety procedures and precautions.
Report unsafe or hazardous conditions, incidents, accidents, and defective equipment to the manager.
Maintain the appearance and orderliness of the resort, buildings, and facilities.
Sweep, vacuum, mop, wax, and buff floors as needed.
Keep windows and screens clean and functioning properly.
Maintain washers and dryers by wiping surfaces, removing lint, and performing related cleaning.
Keep offices and buildings clean and neat, and empty trash containers as needed.
Clean and change vents and filters as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
