About The Position
A Housekeeper supports general resort operations by cleaning resort units and maintaining resort quality standards. The role includes cleaning sleeping quarters, kitchens, bathrooms, and living rooms; adhering to housekeeping detail standards; and cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing bathrooms, kitchens, and lobbies. The Housekeeper makes beds, replenishes supplies such as kitchenware and toiletries, and sorts, counts, folds, marks, or carries linens. The role also maintains positive customer and associate relationships, responds appropriately to guest inquiries and concerns, and resolves guest issues to improve the guest experience.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with employees, guests, and owners.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Professional appearance and a positive, can-do attitude with a team focus.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Clean resort units, including sleeping quarters, kitchens, bathrooms, and living rooms.
- Maintain and adhere to housekeeping detail standards.
- Clean, vacuum, dust, and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and lobbies.
- Make beds and replenish supplies such as kitchenware and toiletries.
- Sort, count, fold, mark, or carry linens.
- Maintain positive customer and associate relationships.
- Respond appropriately to guest inquiries and concerns to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest issues through resolution to improve the guest experience.
