About The Position

West Shore Home is a technology-driven home improvement company specializing in bathroom, flooring, window, and door remodels. The Residential Window and Door Installer Trainee assists with safe, effective residential installations in accordance with company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols, while providing customers with a five-star experience. The role includes paid training.

The workday begins at the warehouse at 6:30 AM, where installers load materials and trucks before traveling to customers’ homes. The installer greets customers, builds rapport, removes existing window or door components, installs replacement windows and exterior doors, replaces trim, cleans the work area, collects paperwork and payment, and returns to the warehouse. The approximate pay is $17–$20 per hour; final compensation may vary based on factors including experience, skills, abilities, and location.

Requirements

• Experience in carpentry, remodeling, plumbing, or construction, or a willingness to learn.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• A valid smartphone or smart device to access company-required systems using two-factor authentication.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks.
• Travel to customers’ homes, greet them, and establish rapport.
• Remove existing window or door components and install replacement windows and exterior doors.
• Replace trim.
• Clean up thoroughly and take care to protect the customer’s home.
• Collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.
• Follow company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols while performing installations safely and effectively.
• Provide customers with a five-star experience.
