Window & Door Installer - Paid Training!
About The Position
West Shore Home is hiring a Window & Door Installer to assist with safe, effective installations in customers’ homes. The Installer follows company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols while providing customers with a 5-star experience. The position includes paid training. The workday begins at the warehouse at 6:30 AM, where the Installer loads materials and trucks before traveling to customer homes. The Installer removes existing windows or doors, installs replacements, replaces trim, cleans the work area, collects paperwork and payment, and returns to the warehouse. The schedule is Monday through Friday. Approximate compensation is $17–$20 per hour; final pay may vary based on factors including background, skills, abilities, and location.
Requirements
- Experience in carpentry, remodeling, or construction, or willingness to learn.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- A valid smartphone or smart device to log into company-required systems using two-factor authentication.
Responsibilities
- Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks.
- Travel to customers’ homes, greet them, and establish rapport.
- Remove existing window or door installations and install replacement windows and exterior doors.
- Replace trim.
- Clean up thoroughly and take care of the customer’s home.
- Collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.
- Follow company standard operating procedures and PPE protocols while performing installations safely and effectively.
- Provide customers with a 5-star experience.
