About The Position
The Residential Remodeler assists with safe and effective residential window and exterior door installations in accordance with company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols. The role involves preparing materials and trucks at the warehouse, traveling to customers’ homes, completing the installation, and providing customers with a 5-star experience. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with a 6:30 AM start time. Approximate pay is $17–$20 per hour; final compensation may vary based on background, knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location. Paid training is provided.
Requirements
- Experience in carpentry, remodeling, plumbing, or construction, or willingness to learn.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- A valid smartphone or smart device to access company-required systems using two-factor authentication.
- Successful completion of the pre-employment screening process, including a background check and drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks.
- Travel to customers’ homes, greet them, and establish rapport.
- Remove existing window or door components and install replacement windows and exterior doors.
- Replace trim as needed.
- Clean the work area thoroughly and show care for the customer’s home.
- Collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.
- Follow company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols while providing a 5-star customer experience.
