About The Position

West Shore Home is a technology-driven home improvement company specializing in bathroom, flooring, window, and door remodels. The Residential Remodeler assists with safe and effective installations in accordance with company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols, while providing customers with a high-quality experience. This role involves traveling to customers’ homes to replace windows and exterior doors, remove and replace trim, and leave the work area clean. The position is based in Hartford, Connecticut, and follows a Monday–Friday schedule with a 6:30 a.m. start. The approximate pay is $21–$24 per hour; final compensation may vary based on factors such as background, skills, abilities, and location.

Requirements

• Experience in carpentry, remodeling, plumbing, or construction, or a willingness to learn.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• A valid smartphone or smart device to access company-required systems using two-factor authentication.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 a.m. to load materials and trucks.
• Travel to customers’ homes, greet them, and establish rapport.
• Remove existing window or door spaces and install replacement windows and exterior doors.
• Replace trim.
• Clean up thoroughly and take care of the customer’s home.
• Collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.
• Follow company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols during installations.
