Residential Property Inspector - Cambridge, MN
About The Position
CrimsonBlu is seeking motivated, detail-oriented business owners and independent contractors in Cambridge, Minnesota, to complete residential property underwriting inspections. This is a 1099 independent contractor role, not an employee position. Contractors control how and when they complete accepted jobs, may work with other companies, and are responsible for their own taxes and any applicable business insurance. Inspectors travel to properties for exterior and occasional interior inspections. They explain the inspection to homeowners, capture required photos and data using a mobile web application, and use a camera pole for roof photos when applicable. For interior or high-value inspections, inspectors schedule appointments themselves. Payment is per completed inspection, paid monthly. Work is estimated at approximately half a working day per week or two days per month. Jobs are generally available during daylight hours Monday through Saturday, excluding holidays, depending on customer expectations; inspectors choose which days to work and how many jobs to accept.
