Residential Property Inspector - St. Paul, MN
About The Position
CrimsonBlu is seeking motivated, detail-oriented business owners and independent contractors in St. Paul, Minnesota, to complete residential property underwriting inspections. This is a 1099 independent contractor role, not an employee position. Contractors control how and when they complete accepted jobs, may work with other companies at the same time, may use their own associates, and are responsible for their own taxes and any applicable business insurance. Work is paid per completed inspection, with service fees paid monthly. The posting estimates about two working days per week, or eight days per month; contractors choose which available jobs to accept and which days to work. Jobs are generally available during daylight hours, Monday through Saturday, excluding holidays.
Requirements
- Be a motivated, detail-oriented business owner or independent contractor in St. Paul, Minnesota.
- Provide your own taxes and any applicable business insurance.
- Use a camera pole for roof photos on applicable jobs.
Responsibilities
- Travel to properties to complete accepted exterior and occasional interior underwriting inspections.
- Have a brief, professional conversation with homeowners to explain the inspection.
- Capture required photos and data using the mobile web application.
- Use a camera pole for roof photos on applicable jobs.
- Schedule appointments for interior and high-value inspections.
- Deliver accurate, timely, professional service and communicate clearly.
