Residential Property Inspector - Friday Harbor, WA
About The Position
CrimsonBlu is seeking motivated, detail-oriented business owners and independent contractors in Friday Harbor, Washington, to complete residential property underwriting inspections. This is a 1099 independent contractor role, not an employee position. Contractors control how and when they complete accepted jobs, may work with other companies at the same time, and are responsible for their own taxes and any applicable business insurance. Work includes traveling to properties for exterior and occasional interior inspections, briefly explaining the inspection to homeowners, and capturing required photos and data through a mobile web application. Applicable jobs may require using a camera pole for roof photos. Contractors schedule their own appointments for interior or high-value inspections and are expected to deliver accurate, timely, professional service with clear communication. Work is paid per completed inspection on a monthly basis. Estimated time is half a working day per week, or two days per month. Jobs are generally available during daylight hours Monday through Saturday, excluding holidays; contractors choose which days to work and how many jobs to accept.
