Residential Property Inspector - Bellingham, WA
About The Position
CrimsonBlu is seeking motivated, detail-oriented business owners or independent contractors in Bellingham, Washington, to complete residential property underwriting inspections. This is a 1099 independent-contractor role, not an employee position. Contractors control how and when they complete accepted jobs, may work with other companies at the same time, and are responsible for their own taxes and any applicable business insurance. They set their own hours and routes, may use their own associates, and are paid per completed inspection on a monthly basis. The work involves traveling to properties for exterior and occasional interior inspections, briefly speaking professionally with homeowners about the inspection, and capturing required photos and data using a mobile web application. Some jobs require a camera pole for roof photos. Contractors schedule appointments for interior or high-value inspections and are expected to provide accurate, timely, professional service with clear communication. Work is estimated at two working days per week, or eight days per month. Jobs are generally available during daylight hours Monday through Saturday, excluding holidays, according to customer expectations; contractors choose which days to work and how many jobs to accept.
