About The Position

CrimsonBlu is seeking motivated, detail-oriented business owners or independent contractors in Port Angeles, Washington, to complete residential property underwriting inspections. The role is suited to someone who enjoys outdoor work, working independently, and controlling their schedule. This is a 1099 independent contractor role, not an employee position. Contractors control how and when they complete accepted jobs, may work with other companies at the same time, and are responsible for their own taxes and any applicable business insurance. Inspectors travel to properties for exterior and occasional interior inspections, explain the inspection to homeowners, and capture required photos and data using CrimsonBlu’s mobile web application. Applicable jobs require using a camera pole for roof photos. For interior or high-value inspections, inspectors schedule their own appointments. Fees are paid per completed inspection on a monthly basis. Jobs are generally available during daylight hours, Monday through Saturday, excluding holidays; contractors choose which days and how many jobs to accept. The posting estimates two working days per month.
