About The Position

CrimsonBlu is seeking motivated, detail-oriented independent contractors in Los Angeles, California, to complete residential property inspections. This 1099 role is not an employee position. Contractors control how and when they complete accepted jobs, may work with other companies, and are responsible for their own taxes and applicable business insurance. The work offers flexible scheduling, self-directed routing, and payment per completed inspection.

Inspectors travel to properties for exterior and occasional interior underwriting inspections. Assignments may involve traveling a few hours away, completing a cluster of jobs in an area over several days, and occasionally staying overnight. Inspectors explain the inspection to homeowners, capture required photos and data through a mobile web application, and use a camera pole for roof photos when applicable. They schedule appointments for interior or high-value inspections and provide accurate, timely, professional service with clear communication. The estimated workload is three working days per week, or 13 days per month, with contractors choosing which days and how many inspections to accept. Service fees are paid monthly for each completed inspection.
