About The Position

CrimsonBlu is seeking motivated, detail-oriented business owners and independent contractors in Downey, California, to complete residential property inspections. This is a 1099 independent contractor role, not an employee position. Contractors control how and when they complete accepted jobs, may work with other companies at the same time, and are responsible for their own taxes and any applicable business insurance. They set their own hours and routes and are paid per completed inspection on a monthly basis.

The work involves traveling to properties for exterior and occasional interior underwriting inspections, explaining inspections to homeowners, collecting required photos and data through a mobile web application, and using a camera pole for roof photos when applicable. Contractors schedule their own appointments for interior and high-value inspections. Jobs are generally available during daylight hours Monday through Saturday, excluding holidays, based on customer expectations. The stated time estimate is two working days per week, or eight days per month; contractors choose which days to work and how many jobs to accept.
