Residential Property Inspector - Eureka, CA
About The Position
CrimsonBlu is seeking motivated, detail-oriented business owners or independent contractors in Eureka, California, to complete residential property underwriting inspections. This is a 1099 independent contractor role, not an employee position. Contractors choose how and when to complete accepted jobs, may work with other companies, and are responsible for their own taxes and any applicable business insurance. The work involves traveling to properties for exterior inspections and occasional interior inspections, explaining the inspection to homeowners, and capturing required photos and data using a mobile web application. Some jobs require a camera pole for roof photos. Contractors schedule their own appointments for interior and high-value inspections and are expected to provide accurate, timely, professional service with clear communication. Payment is per completed inspection, paid monthly. The posting estimates two working days per week, or eight days per month. Jobs are generally available during daylight hours Monday through Saturday, excluding holidays; contractors choose which days to work and how many jobs to accept.
