Residential Property Inspector - Astoria, OR
About The Position
CrimsonBlu is seeking motivated, detail-oriented business owners and independent contractors in Astoria, Oregon, to complete residential property inspections. This 1099 independent contractor role is not an employee position. Contractors control how and when they complete accepted jobs, may work with other companies at the same time, may use their own associates, and are responsible for their own taxes and any applicable business insurance. Contractors set their own hours, build their own routes, and are paid per completed inspection on a monthly basis. The work involves traveling to properties for exterior and occasional interior underwriting inspections, briefly and professionally explaining the inspection to homeowners, and capturing required photos and data through a mobile web application. A camera pole is used for roof photos on applicable jobs. Contractors schedule their own appointments for interior or high-value inspections and are expected to provide accurate, timely, professional service with clear communication. Estimated workload is 0.5 working days per week, or 2 days per month. Jobs are generally available during daylight hours Monday through Saturday, excluding holidays; contractors decide which days to work and how many jobs to accept.
