About The Position

CrimsonBlu is seeking motivated, detail-oriented independent contractors in Lake Jackson, Texas, to complete residential property underwriting inspections. This is a 1099 contractor role, not an employee position. Contractors choose which accepted jobs to complete and control how and when they complete them. They may work with other companies and clients, use their own associates if applicable, and are responsible for their own taxes and any applicable business insurance. Compensation is paid per completed inspection on a monthly basis.

The work involves traveling to properties for exterior and occasional interior inspections, briefly explaining the inspection to homeowners, and using CrimsonBlu’s mobile web application to capture required photos and data. Some jobs require using a camera pole for roof photos. Contractors schedule their own appointments for interior or high-value inspections and are expected to provide accurate, timely, professional service and communicate clearly. Jobs are generally available during daylight hours Monday through Saturday, excluding holidays; contractors decide which days and how many jobs to take. The estimated time commitment is two working days per month.
