Residential Property Inspector - Harlingen, TX
About The Position
CrimsonBlu is seeking motivated, detail-oriented independent contractors in Harlingen, Texas, to complete residential property underwriting inspections. This is a 1099 independent contractor role, not an employee position. Contractors control how and when they complete accepted jobs, may work for other companies at the same time, and are responsible for their own taxes and any applicable business insurance. Work includes traveling to properties for exterior and occasional interior inspections, briefly explaining the inspection to homeowners, and capturing required photos and data through a mobile web application. Contractors may use a camera pole for roof photos on applicable jobs and schedule their own appointments for interior or high-value inspections. Payment is per completed inspection, issued monthly. Estimated work is 0.5–1 working day per week, or 2–4 days per month. Jobs are generally available during daylight hours Monday through Saturday, excluding holidays; contractors choose which days to work and how many jobs to accept.
