About The Position

CrimsonBlu is seeking motivated, detail-oriented business owners and independent contractors in Zanesville, Ohio, to complete residential property inspections. The role involves traveling to properties for exterior and occasional interior underwriting inspections that the contractor has accepted. Contractors control how and when they complete accepted jobs, set their own hours and routes, may work with other companies, and may use their own associates if they have them. This is a 1099 independent-contractor role, not an employee position; contractors are responsible for their own taxes and any applicable business insurance. The work includes briefly and professionally explaining the inspection to homeowners, capturing required photos and data through a mobile web application, and using a camera pole for roof photos on applicable jobs. Contractors schedule their own appointments for interior or high-value inspections and are expected to provide accurate, timely, professional service with clear communication. Fees are paid per completed inspection on a monthly basis. The estimated workload is one to two working days per week, or seven days per month. The work window is 8 a.m. to sunset, Monday through Saturday.
