Residential Property Inspector - Trotwood, OH
About The Position
CrimsonBlu is seeking motivated, detail-oriented business owners or independent contractors in Trotwood, Ohio, to complete residential property inspections. The role involves working outdoors and independently, controlling your own schedule and route, and being free to work with other clients or companies. This is a 1099 independent contractor role, not an employee position. Contractors control how and when they complete accepted jobs and are responsible for their own taxes and any applicable business insurance. Payment is per completed inspection, paid monthly. The estimated workload is 1–2 working days per week, or 6 days per month. The work window is 8 a.m. to sunset, Monday through Saturday.
Requirements
- Be a motivated, detail-oriented business owner or independent contractor.
- Be responsible for your own taxes and any applicable business insurance.
Responsibilities
- Travel to properties to complete accepted exterior and occasional interior underwriting inspections.
- Briefly and professionally explain the inspection to homeowners.
- Capture required photos and data using the mobile web application.
- Use a camera pole to take roof photos on applicable jobs.
- Schedule appointments for interior and high-value inspections.
- Deliver accurate, timely, professional service and communicate clearly.
