About The Position

The Residential Electrical Service Technician performs the work necessary to service and repair residential electrical equipment in customers’ homes. The role requires exemplary communication skills and the ability to explain services and options clearly and professionally to customers and coworkers with varying levels of knowledge. Strong ethics, a positive attitude, and a willingness to go the extra mile to provide exemplary service are essential. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and provide proof of employment eligibility at hire.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of residential electrical installation and service experience.
• Associate degree, some technical college, or certification training required.
• Electrician’s license is mandatory where required.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Strong ethics, a positive attitude, exemplary communication skills, and a willingness to provide exemplary service.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States; proof of employment eligibility is required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair residential electrical equipment in customers’ homes.
• Install and replace electrical wiring, fixtures, controls, outlets, circuits, panels, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot and perform diagnostic repairs, including doorbell systems.
• Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers, explaining services and available options.
