About The Position

The Electrical Service Technician is a key member of the team, responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining systems or equipment in residential settings. The role requires technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to excellent customer service. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; flexibility is required because jobs may change. The technician must be available for on-call and overtime work as needed and work in all weather conditions while wearing appropriate PPE. Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in service work.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting, and lifting.
• Ability to pick up, lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions, including heat, rain, cold, and wind, while wearing appropriate PPE.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose a variety of service issues.
• Perform repairs, part replacements, and system maintenance.
• Manage materials and schedules, and ensure quality work.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Document work performed and report recurring issues to management.
• Be available for on-call and overtime work as needed.
• Follow all applicable safety guidelines and regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
