About The Position
The Residential Caregiver supports clients ages 40 and older with developmental disabilities, including intellectual disabilities and autism. The role involves assisting with daily living activities and providing a warm, family-like, home environment. The position is full-time, weekdays, Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Legal Address in Columbia, Tennessee. A PRN role with varying shifts is also mentioned. No prior experience is required; the employer is willing to train a candidate who demonstrates genuine interest and dedication.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Physical stamina to remain active while working.
- Dependability and ability to maintain a consistent routine for clients.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background checks; disqualifying convictions include felonies and convictions for abuse, assault, or neglect.
- Willingness to complete a TB skin test and work physical upon hire.
Nice To Haves
- Valid driver's license preferred.
