URGENTLY Hiring CNA / Caregiver Full-Time Weekdays
About The Position
ComForCare Home Care – Central DuPage is hiring experienced Caregivers, CNAs, and HHAs to provide one-on-one care to seniors in their homes. This position offers weekday daytime work, Monday through Friday, with opportunities for consistent hours. Caregivers support clients’ safety, dignity, comfort, and independence by helping with daily routines and following individualized care plans. The role is with an independently owned and operated ComForCare franchisee, which is a separate employer from ComForCare and its affiliates.
Requirements
- Experience as a Caregiver, CNA, Certified Nursing Assistant, HHA, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Assistant, or Private Duty Caregiver.
- Experience in senior care, home care, or personal care.
- Comfort assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Dependability and punctuality.
- Compassion and patience.
- Comfort providing hands-on care.
- Ability to work independently in a client’s home.
- Professional communication with clients and families.
- Consistent availability during weekday daytime hours.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with dementia care.
- Experience with Alzheimer’s care.
- Experience with mobility assistance, companionship, and personal care.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Provide personal care and hygiene assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide incontinence care when needed.
- Assist with mobility and safe transfers.
- Prepare meals and assist clients with meals.
- Provide medication reminders according to the care plan.
- Accompany clients to appointments or errands when applicable.
- Provide companionship and meaningful interaction.
- Perform light housekeeping related to client care.
- Support clients’ daily routines and activities.
- Follow individualized care plans.
- Report changes in clients’ conditions.
- Communicate with family members and the ComForCare care team.
