About The Position

Hinds' Feet Farm is hiring a Residential Caregiver in Huntersville, North Carolina, to support adults with brain injuries in a mission-driven residential care environment. The role focuses on helping residents live with greater independence and confidence while preserving their dignity, personal growth, and individual goals. Compensation is $15–$18 per hour. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 21 years old.
• Knowledge of basic human needs and health and safety procedures.
• Valid driver's license, at least four years of driving experience, car insurance, and a clean driving record.
• Willingness to complete CPR and First Aid certification, alternatives-to-interventions training, and employee training within 30 days of employment.
• Ability to drive a 12-passenger van.
• Ability to lift and transfer clients.
• Strong communication skills, flexibility, and an open mind.
• Compassion for helping others.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

• Experience providing caregiving to individuals with disabilities.
• Some knowledge of brain injuries.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily needs while promoting independence, dignity, and personal growth.
• Assist residents with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Administer medications and document care and medication records.
• Transport residents to appointments and community activities.
• Monitor residents' progress toward individual goals.
• Encourage residents and respond to their needs.
• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
• Collaborate with team members to provide person-centered care.
