About The Position

We are seeking a patient, compassionate, and reliable Caregiver to enhance the quality of life of seniors and people with disabilities. This role supports a female client with cerebral palsy who is dependent on assistance with all activities of daily living. Duties include helping her get out of bed, use the toilet, eat, and complete other personal-care tasks, along with tidying up. The client has a ceiling Hoyer lift. The caregiver must have a valid driver's license and be comfortable driving the client's van. The schedule is weekdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Coppell. Pay is $17 per hour.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license.
• Comfort with driving the client's van.
• First aid and CPR certification.
• Ability to follow health and safety guidelines.
• Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects.
• Compassionate, respectful, and ethical demeanor.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or in a similar role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing.
• Assist the client with getting out of bed and using the toilet.
• Assist with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises.
• Feed the client and prepare meals and snacks.
• Perform light housekeeping and tidying.
• Dispense medication.
• Provide companionship.
• Assist with errands and shopping.
• Drive the client's van as needed.
