About The Position

A premier residential development in Willets Point, Queens is seeking a Bilingual Resident Services & Leasing Associate to join its growing team. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone looking to launch or advance a career in real estate, property management, or customer relations. This role is approximately 80% customer-facing translations and 20% administrative, serving as a key point of contact for Mandarin-speaking prospective residents and tenants. You'll guide applicants through the leasing process, provide exceptional resident service, and support the daily operations of a professional leasing office. Whether you're transitioning from hospitality, customer service, banking, retail, or office administration, this position offers comprehensive training, hands-on experience, and long-term career growth within one of New York City's most exciting residential communities.

Requirements

  • Fluent in Mandarin and English (Cantonese is a plus).
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Professional, polished, and confident working in a client-facing environment.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced office.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new software platforms.
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, banking, reception, office administration, leasing, or property management.
  • Sales or client-facing experience is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with affordable housing programs or LIHTC is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome prospective residents and conduct professional apartment tours.
  • Serve as the primary Mandarin-speaking resource for prospective tenants and residents.
  • Translate and explain leasing documents, policies, and procedures in both Mandarin and English.
  • Guide applicants through the leasing process from initial inquiry through move-in.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries by phone, email, and in person.
  • Deliver a warm, polished, and exceptional customer experience while supporting leasing objectives.
  • Prepare lease agreements and process rental applications.
  • Maintain accurate leasing records and documentation.
  • Assist with income qualification and compliance requirements.
  • Update property management software and lease files.
  • Support daily office operations and administrative functions.
