About The Position

DeCoach Recovery Centre is seeking compassionate, dependable Resident Monitors for its Fairmount sober living house in Cincinnati, Ohio. Resident Monitors help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive living environment for clients working toward recovery from substance use disorders. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in behavioral health and the opportunity to work alongside a collaborative team.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active Ohio driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Commitment to client confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• Support for the organization’s mission and a positive, pro-social, drug-free environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, secure, and structured living environment.
• Serve as a supportive, non-clinical resource for clients by listening actively, answering questions, and providing crisis support when needed.
• Document client activity and behavior and provide clear shift reports, including a 30-minute shift change.
• Facilitate required groups and structured activities.
• Transport clients to offsite meetings and activities.
• Handle light facilities maintenance and report issues to a supervisor.
• Assist with office tasks such as answering phones, greeting guests, and filing.
• Participate in monthly supervision and all required training.
