About The Position

The Resident Monitor oversees resident activity during an assigned shift and ensures compliance with house rules. The role includes checking clients into the shelter, preparing and monitoring intake records, responding calmly to emergencies, taking appropriate corrective action in accordance with established policies and procedures, and tracking client data in HMIS. The position is full-time, regular, with a 40-hour schedule. The listed hourly pay is $15.75. The role is based in Ft. Myers, Florida, and the job shift is listed as “Any.”

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
Valid state driver’s license.
Level 2 background screening is required.
One year of experience performing security work or as a social service worker is preferred; equivalent combinations of training and experience that provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities are also accepted.
