About The Position

DeCoach Recovery Centre is seeking compassionate, dependable Resident Monitors for its Fairmount sober living house in Cincinnati, Ohio. Resident Monitors help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive home for clients working to overcome substance use disorders. This entry-level role provides hands-on experience in behavioral health and involves working alongside a collaborative team to support clients’ recovery journeys. The role is non-clinical and includes providing support, documenting client activity, facilitating activities, transporting clients, and helping with basic facilities and office tasks.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years old.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Hold an active Ohio driver’s license and have a clean driving record.
Commit to client confidentiality and professional boundaries.
Support the organization’s mission and contribute to a positive, pro-social, drug-free environment.

Responsibilities

Provide a safe, secure, and structured living environment.
Serve as a supportive, non-clinical resource for clients by listening actively, answering questions, and providing crisis support when needed.
Document client activity and behavior, and provide clear shift reports, including a 30-minute shift change.
Facilitate required groups and structured activities.
Transport clients to offsite meetings and activities.
Perform light facilities maintenance and report issues to a supervisor.
Assist with office tasks, including answering phones, greeting guests, and filing.
Participate in monthly supervision and all required training.
