About The Position

Navion of Cotswold is seeking a Resident Care Coordinator to assist residents with daily tasks and help ensure a safe and enjoyable living environment. The role plans, directs, and assists with resident-care staffing and service needs within the scope of the coordinator’s certifications. Holidays are required. The position also includes manager-on-duty coverage and community-facing duties.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older.
Medication Technician certification is required.
General understanding of and concern for the needs of seniors.
Ability to work in an environment conducive to caring for residents without posing a substantial safety or health threat to oneself or others.
Ability to manage team processes and promote a team environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience or training in an equivalent setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Complete scheduling for resident care staff.
In collaboration with the Director of Clinical Services, orient resident care staff, monitor their progress, and reinforce their training.
Complete Navion Senior Solutions and state-required documentation in a timely manner.
Assist the Director of Clinical Services with implementing state regulations as required.
Provide manager-on-duty coverage, present the community, and plan and participate in staff meetings.
Plan and implement marketing and community events.
Audit Medication Administration Reports (MARs) and notify the pharmacy of changes.
Conduct regular inspections of resident records and maintain them in accordance with state regulations.
Complete resident assessments in a timely manner as outlined by Navion Senior Solutions and licensure guidelines.
