About The Position

Navion of Cotswold is seeking a caring, dependable Resident Care Aide to provide hands-on support with residents’ daily activities and build meaningful relationships with them. The role supports residents in feeling comfortable, supported, and at home. This is a full-time, first-shift position. Navion of Cotswold has partnered with Tapcheck, a mobile app that allows team members to access earned wages instantly.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED accepted and may be required by state regulations.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Positive attitude, flexibility to perform varied duties in service to residents, and ability to work in a team environment.
Dedication and passion for serving seniors, with excellent customer service skills.
Ability to make choices and decisions and act in residents’ best interests.
Written and verbal communication skills and an appropriate level of understanding.
Organizational and time-management skills.
Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience working with seniors is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transfers, mobility, and incontinence care.
Prepare residents for meals, snacks, and activities.
Assist residents in the dining room, including serving meals and clearing tables.
Respond to the resident emergency call system.
Observe, document, and report changes in residents’ conditions to the Resident Care Coordinator or their designee.
Communicate with residents and family members in a polite, professional manner.
Maintain resident care documentation as required by state regulations and Navion Senior Solutions policies and procedures.
Transport residents when required.
