About The Position

Standish Village is hiring Resident Care Associates to provide direct personal care to senior residents in a safe, home-like community. Associates spend quality time with residents, support activities, help with dining and light housekeeping, and use an electronic health record system to track care and other tasks. The role also involves collaborating across departments to foster cooperation, inclusivity, and mutual respect. Available schedules are full time, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, or part time, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM. Both shifts require working every other weekend. Pay starts at $19 per hour.

Requirements

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification.
Ability to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers.
Punctuality and reliability.
Ability to stand, sit, bend, and transfer residents, with and without assistance.

Responsibilities

Spend quality time with seniors and provide direct personal care.
Join or lead activities with residents.
Track care and other tasks using the electronic health record system.
Assist the housekeeping team with light housekeeping services.
Escort residents to meals and assist with dining services as needed.
Work across departments to foster cooperation, collaboration, inclusivity, and mutual respect.
