About The Position
Armbrook Village is hiring Resident Care Associates to provide direct care to senior residents. The role is part of a caring and compassionate Resident Care team in a safe, home-like, and fun work environment. Available full-time shifts are 3:00 PM–11:00 PM and 11:00 PM–7:00 AM. Starting pay is $18 per hour, with shift differentials for certain hours. Associates spend quality time with residents, provide personal care, participate in activities, document care and tasks in an electronic health record system, assist with light housekeeping and dining, and collaborate across departments to support a cooperative, inclusive, and respectful community.
Requirements
- Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA).
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, and transfer residents, with and without assistance.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers.
- Punctuality and reliability in assisting residents with daily living activities.
Responsibilities
- Spend quality time with senior residents and provide direct personal care.
- Join or lead activities with residents.
- Track care and other tasks using the electronic health record system.
- Assist the housekeeping team with light housekeeping services.
- Escort residents to meals and assist with dining services as needed.
- Work across departments to foster cooperation, collaboration, inclusivity, and mutual respect.
