About The Position

Forestdale Park is hiring Resident Care Associates (CNA or HHA) to provide direct care to senior residents in a safe, home-like, and fun work environment in Malden, Massachusetts. Available schedules include a full-time 7:00 AM–3:00 PM shift and a part-time 3:00 PM–11:00 PM shift; both require working every other weekend. Pay starts at $19 per hour. The position includes spending quality time with residents, supporting daily living and dining needs, helping with activities, documenting care, and collaborating with other departments.

Requirements

Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA).
Ability to stand, sit, bend, and transfer residents with and without assistance.
Ability to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers.
Punctuality and reliability.

Responsibilities

Spend quality time with seniors and provide direct personal care.
Join or lead activities with residents.
Track care and other tasks using the electronic health record system.
Assist the housekeeping team with light housekeeping services.
Escort residents to meals and assist with dining services as needed.
Work across departments to foster cooperation, collaboration, inclusivity, and mutual respect.
