About The Position

Cape Cod Senior Residences is hiring a Resident Care Associate to provide direct care to senior residents in a safe, home-like, and welcoming assisted-living environment. The role involves spending quality time with residents, providing personal care, supporting activities and dining, documenting care in an electronic health record system, and helping create a cooperative and inclusive community. This is a part-time position in Bourne, Massachusetts, with available shifts on Fridays and Sundays from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and Mondays and Sundays from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Pay starts at $20 per hour.

Requirements

Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA).
Ability to stand, sit, bend, and transfer residents, with and without assistance.
Ability to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers.
Punctuality and reliability.

Responsibilities

Spend quality time with seniors and provide direct personal care.
Join or lead activities with residents.
Track care and other tasks using the electronic health record system.
Assist the housekeeping team with light housekeeping services.
Escort residents to meals and assist with dining services as needed.
Work across departments to foster cooperation, collaboration, inclusivity, and mutual respect.
