About The Position

Goddard House is hiring Resident Care Associates to provide direct personal care to senior residents in a safe, home-like, and fun environment. Associates spend quality time with residents, participate in activities, track care in an electronic health record system, assist with light housekeeping and dining services, and collaborate across departments. The position is based at Goddard House, 165 Chestnut Street, Brookline, Massachusetts. The listed full-time shift is 7:00 AM–3:00 PM; per-diem availability is also offered as needed. Starting pay is $20–$21 per hour, based on work experience.

Requirements

Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA).
Ability to stand, sit, bend, and transfer residents, with or without assistance.
Ability to communicate effectively with residents and coworkers.
Punctuality and reliability.

Responsibilities

Spend quality time with seniors and provide direct personal care.
Join or lead activities with residents.
Track care and other tasks using the electronic health record system.
Assist the housekeeping team with light housekeeping services.
Escort residents to meals and assist with dining services as needed.
Work across departments to foster cooperation, collaboration, inclusivity, and mutual respect.
