About The Position
Cornerstone at Milford is hiring Resident Care Associates (CNA or HHA) to provide direct care to senior residents in a safe, home-like, and fun environment. Associates spend time with residents, support daily living activities, participate in activities, and work across departments to foster cooperation, collaboration, inclusivity, and mutual respect. Available shifts are 7:00 AM–3:00 PM (per diem), 3:00 PM–11:00 PM (per diem or full-time), and 11:00 PM–7:00 AM (full-time). Rates start at $19.50 per hour, with shift differentials for certain hours. Standard benefits begin on the day of hire.
Requirements
- Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA).
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, and transfer residents, with or without assistance.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers.
- Punctuality and reliability in assisting residents with daily living activities.
Responsibilities
- Spend quality time with seniors and provide direct personal care.
- Join or lead activities with residents.
- Track care and other tasks using an electronic health record system.
- Assist the housekeeping team with light housekeeping services.
- Escort residents to meals and assist with dining services as needed.
- Work across departments to foster cooperation, collaboration, inclusivity, and mutual respect.
