About The Position

Spring Arbor of Greensboro is hiring a part-time Resident Assistant to provide hands-on care and support to Assisted Living residents. Under the guidance of the Resident Services Director, the Resident Assistant helps create a warm, safe, and positive environment for residents. All shifts are available: 7 a.m.–3 p.m. and 3 p.m.–11 p.m. Every-other-weekend work may be required.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related health care experience.
• Completion of dementia training is required for communities with an Ensemble Program.
• Ability to pass a criminal background screening.
• Willingness to comply with the drug-free workplace policy.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification, preferred or as required by the state.
• CNA or NA license/certification in good standing, depending on the state.
• Experience with computerized resident documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Approach interactions with residents and fellow associates in a friendly, service-oriented way.
• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, bed linens, positioning, transfers, mobility, medication reminders, and incontinence care.
• Maintain accurate records, including resident service plans and documentation of care provided.
• Stay familiar with each resident's service plan to support personalized, consistent care.
• Communicate with the Resident Services team to ensure continuity of care.
• Help promote a safe environment for residents, associates, and visitors.
• Support the day-to-day programming and operations of the neighborhood.
