About The Position
Home Again is hiring a part-time Resident Assistant to help create a warm, welcoming, and caring environment for residents. The role involves providing compassionate support with personal care and daily activities, meals, mobility, call lights, and Life Enrichment activities. Resident Assistants also support other tasks that help the community run smoothly and build meaningful relationships with residents.
Requirements
- Caring heart and genuine desire to work with older adults and people with physical challenges.
- Positive attitude and ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset.
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening before employment, in accordance with state regulations and company policy.
Responsibilities
- Provide kind, respectful, and compassionate care to residents.
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and daily activities.
- Help residents with meals, dining, and mobility, including wheelchair or walking assistance.
- Offer friendly reminders about meals and activities.
- Respond to resident call lights with care and urgency.
- Engage residents in Life Enrichment activities.
- Support the team with other tasks that help the community run smoothly.
