About The Position

As a Resident Assistant at Vivie, you will provide hands-on support to residents and foster meaningful connections. You will assist with daily activities, help maintain a safe and comfortable environment, and support residents in living each day with dignity, joy, and companionship. The role is hourly and non-exempt, is in the Nursing department, and has no supervisory responsibilities. Travel is not required.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience as a caregiver, personal care assistant, or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
Minnesota or Wisconsin CNA certification is preferred and may be required for some levels of assisted living.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, toileting, mobility, and other daily activities.
Support residents with meals, restorative care, and life skills while respecting their preferences.
Encourage participation in social, recreational, and wellness activities.
Maintain clean and comfortable resident spaces through housekeeping, laundry, and organizing.
Prepare, store, and serve meals, beverages, and snacks, promoting a positive dining experience.
Monitor and report changes in residents’ health or emotional well-being to nursing staff.
Welcome new residents and help them transition into their new home.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and provide exceptional care.
