Resident Assistant - Part Time Days - Timber Pines
About The Position
The Resident Assistant provides hands-on support to residents and helps foster meaningful connections within the community. The role supports residents’ dignity, joy, companionship, and quality of life by assisting with daily activities, maintaining a safe and comfortable environment, and encouraging participation in social, recreational, and wellness activities. The position is hourly and non-exempt, with no supervisory responsibilities and no travel requirements. The schedule is part-time, 32 hours per pay period, from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., including every other weekend and holiday. The pay range is $19–$23.65 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and location.

Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a caregiver, personal care assistant, or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Minnesota or Wisconsin CNA certification is preferred and may be required for some levels of assisted living.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, toileting, mobility, and other daily activities.
- Support residents with meals, restorative care, and life skills while respecting their preferences.
- Encourage residents to participate in social, recreational, and wellness activities.
- Help maintain a clean and comfortable environment through housekeeping, laundry, and organizing resident spaces.
- Prepare, store, and serve meals, beverages, and snacks, promoting a positive dining experience.
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ health or emotional well-being to nursing staff.
- Welcome new residents and help them transition into their new home.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and provide exceptional care.
