About The Position

As a Resident Assistant at Vivie, you’ll provide hands-on support to residents while fostering meaningful connections. You’ll assist with daily activities and help maintain a safe, comfortable environment so residents can live each day with dignity, joy, and companionship. The position is hourly and non-exempt, is part of the Nursing department, and has no supervisory responsibilities. Travel is not required.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience as a caregiver, personal care assistant, or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
Minnesota or Wisconsin CNA certification is preferred and may be required for some levels of assisted living.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, toileting, mobility, and other daily activities.
Support residents with meals, restorative care, and life skills while respecting their preferences.
Encourage residents to participate in social, recreational, and wellness activities.
Help maintain clean and comfortable surroundings through housekeeping, laundry, and organizing resident spaces.
Prepare, store, and serve meals, beverages, and snacks, promoting a positive dining experience.
Monitor and report changes in residents’ health or emotional well-being to nursing staff.
Welcome new residents and help them transition into their new home.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and provide exceptional care.
