About The Position
Resident Assistants (care aides) are a key part of the Juniper team, providing physical support to help residents stay engaged, safe, and independent. This position is at Juniper Communities’ South Hills location. A full-time 3 p.m.–11 p.m. shift is available; part-time positions are available for all shifts, and applications are accepted for all shifts. Pay is $18.00–$21.00 per hour, based on experience and certification, with a shift differential for the 3 p.m.–11 p.m. shift. Requirements
- High school education or equivalent (required).
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
Nice To Haves
- One year of caregiving experience (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Assist residents as needed with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, hair care, shaving, continence management, securing transportation, making and keeping appointments, using the telephone, dining, and attending Juniper programs.
- Check and monitor vital signs as instructed.
- Communicate effectively with team members, residents, and families.
- Provide excellent customer service.
