About The Position
At Vivie, the Resident Assistant provides hands-on support to residents while fostering meaningful connections. The role helps residents live each day with dignity, joy, and companionship by assisting with daily activities, maintaining a safe and comfortable environment, and supporting residents’ well-being. This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position in the Nursing department. The schedule is 7:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., 80 hours per pay period, and includes working every other weekend and every other holiday. The position has no travel requirements and no supervisory responsibilities. Pay is $19–$23.65, based on location, qualifications, and experience.

Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a caregiver, personal care assistant, or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Minnesota or Wisconsin CNA certification is preferred and may be required for some levels of assisted living.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, toileting, and mobility.
- Support residents with meals, restorative care, and life skills while respecting their preferences.
- Encourage residents to participate in social, recreational, and wellness activities.
- Help maintain clean and comfortable surroundings through housekeeping, laundry, and organizing resident spaces.
- Prepare, store, and serve meals, beverages, and snacks, promoting a positive dining experience.
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ health or emotional well-being to nursing staff.
- Welcome new residents and support their transition into their new home.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and provide exceptional care.
