About The Position

Resident Assistants/Caregivers provide personal care and protection for residents receiving assisted-level care. They incorporate CARF/CCAC standards into residents’ daily routines, develop awareness of residents’ interests and needs, and help residents maximize their independence and participation. The role involves working one-on-one with residents, providing direct care, and assisting with activities of daily living and scheduled program activities.

This is a full-time position with day shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM and PM shifts from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, on a rotating 4:2 schedule. Pay is $17.25–$20, based on experience.

Requirements

• Prior experience working with seniors.
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
• Flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and protection for residents receiving assisted-level care.
• Incorporate CARF/CCAC standards into residents’ daily routines.
• Develop awareness of residents’ interests and needs.
• Assist residents in maximizing independence and participation.
• Work one-on-one with residents to provide direct care.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and scheduled program activities.
